In the wake of a year filled with legal and cultural battles over taxpayer funding of abortion facilities, a new national initiative is giving women something far more important: real help and real hope.
Cogency Strategic, in partnership with the National Religious Broadcasters (NRB), has launched WomensCareCenters.com, a nationwide online directory designed to connect women with life-affirming pregnancy centers in their own communities.
Alongside this new resource, eight professional public service announcements (PSAs) are now available for Christian radio stations and broadcasters to air free of charge—each pointing women to the support they need.
The timing could not be more critical. Planned Parenthood is reeling from the passage of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, signed on July 4, which included a one-year $700 million defunding provision. Although a federal injunction has paused enforcement while the courts weigh the case, the abortion giant has already begun shuttering operations, including 41 closures nationwide and its flagship 78,000-square-foot Houston facility, once the largest abortion business in the Western Hemisphere.
Against this backdrop, NRB President and CEO Troy A. Miller issued a clear call to action for Christian media leaders:
“This is a critical moment for our nation. As abortion facilities close and women wonder where to turn, Christian communicators, media professionals, and churches must rise to the occasion with clarity and compassion. These PSAs to air on your station are a practical tool to point women toward life-affirming help and to declare the truth that every child is precious, and every mother has a place to turn.”
Why This Matters in Pennsylvania
Pennsylvania Family Institute has long reported on the dangers and deceptions within the abortion industry here in our state:
- Over 600 health and safety infractions at Pennsylvania abortion facilities since 2012.
- Planned Parenthood facilities shifting to mail-order abortions, while the FDA re-examines the dangers of the abortion pill.
- Pennsylvania’s largest abortion mill failing inspections nine years in a row.
- Planned Parenthood caught misleading women yet again, advertising “prenatal services” that their own staff admit they do not provide.
Compassion without strings attached
These stories all underscore the same reality: abortion businesses profit from abortion, not from walking with women through pregnancy and parenting. When it comes to real care, they cannot be trusted.
That’s why the new WomensCareCenters.com directory is such a valuable resource. It highlights the work of local pregnancy care centers that is already happening day in and day out—the very kind of community-based, life-affirming ministries that were showcased at the Pennsylvania Capitol earlier this year.
These centers offer free ultrasounds, pregnancy testing, STI screenings, counseling, parenting classes, baby supplies, and so much more. Most importantly, they provide what no abortion facility can: compassion without strings attached.
As Karen Garnett of Cogency Strategic put it, “In this time of cultural and legal shifts, it’s more important than ever that women hear the truth: real, life-giving help and support is available, completely free, and offered with unconditional love.”
A Call to Pennsylvania Pro-Life Broadcasters
For those in the radio industry—especially pro-life broadcasters across Pennsylvania—this is a ready-made opportunity to be part of the solution. By airing these free PSAs, stations can amplify the message that no woman is ever without help or hope.
The PSAs come in four 15-second spots and four 30-second spots, crafted for professional quality and easy integration into programming. They are freely available for download, airing, and sharing nationwide.

At a time when abortion facilities are closing, inspections reveal repeated failures, and Planned Parenthood continues misleading women, it’s more important than ever to broadcast a different message. Women deserve to know that real help exists—and it may be right down the street.
For Christian communicators and radio professionals, these PSAs are a tangible way to support the important work of Pregnancy Centers through their platforms: to protect life, support women, and spread truth.
Because every life is precious. And every woman deserves more than Planned Parenthood’s empty promises—she deserves hope.
