Former Chicago-area nurse Jill Stanek reports that she was contacted by a former employee of the Planned Parenthood office in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania (Pocono Mountains area).

Her complaint? Alleged unsanitary conditions and practices throughout the facility; with photos. Read more here on Jill’s Blog under “Former employee spills beans on unsanitary Planned Parenthood clinic.” It’s worth noting that Planned Parenthood – which performs almost half of Pennsylvania’s 35,000 abortions per year –  led the lobbying effort against the legislation to raise the medical standards for abortion clinics to the same standards as any other medical facility. They claimed that their facilities already met high standards and had no need for a new law (you know, “We’re just fine here; nothing to see; just move along…”)  Oh, really?? The truth shall be revealed.

Background on Jill Stanek: For those who don’t know, Jill Stanek was a registered nurse in the Labor & Delivery Department at Christ Hospital in Oak Lawn, IL. She discovered not only were abortions being committed there, but babies were being aborted alive to die without medical care. When hospital leaders said that they would not stop, Jill went public and has become a national figure in the effort to protect both born and pre-born infants. She and her testimony also led the efforts for a new state law to protect babies born alive after failed abortions. Sadly, those efforts were narrowly defeated due to the key swing votes and committee actions by then-state senator Barack Obama (yes, our president).
