We’re in the state budget season crunch time here in Harrisburg and a vote may be happening soon to include important school choice legislation. Lifeline Scholarships would empower thousands of parents to help make the best educational decisions for their children.
Take Action: Ask your legislator to vote YES on PA’s Lifeline Scholarship Program
An effort led by Rep. Clint Owlett (R-Tioga), Rep. Martina White (R-Philadelphia), and Senator Judy Ward (R-Blair) – and with voiced support by Gov. Josh Shapiro, the Lifeline Scholarship Program would create educational scholarships for children who live in the bottom portion of Pennsylvania failing school districts. Too many students and families are stuck in failing school districts and school choice options have in many ways been a life-saving solution when made available.
Students that live within a low-achieving school need access to a quality education that best fits their individual needs. That’s what this Lifeline Scholarship Program is all about.
Lifeline scholarships would directly fund students, empowering parents to help their children pursue their dreams. We’ve seen what school choice options can do for Pennsylvania, seeing children thrive through programs like the highly-successful Education Improvement Tax Credit (EITC), of which we operate our Family Choice Scholarship Program. Creating more school choice options is a win-win-win for parents, students and Pennsylvania.
Thank you for contacting your elected officials in support of thousands of families through the Lifeline Scholarship Program.
