New documents show University of Pittsburgh set racial quotas on aborted babies for experiments

More disturbing details from the University of Pittsburgh (Pitt) and their inhumane experiments on the bodies of aborted babies: New documents – obtained by the Center for Medical Progress and Judicial Watch – show in detail Pitt’s taxpayer-funded policies and procedures that include a quota on the number of minority babies to collect for their ongoing fetal harvesting program.

Racial Quota

Pitt states in their National Institutes of Health (NIH) application (for taxpayer-funded grants) that its fetal harvesting program – part of their GenitoUrinary Developmental Mapping Atlas Program or GUDMAP – will feature “Inclusion (or exclusion) of individuals on the basis of sex/gender, race, and ethnicity” and sets quotas of 50% white patients and aborted babies, and 50% minority patients and babies.

One chart shows a projected breakdown of racial and ethnic categories for the number of aborted babies between 6-42 weeks collected for experiments. This chart shows a total of 400 babies: 200 white, 100 Black or African American, 50 Asian, 50 Hispanic or Latino.

Allegheny County, the major metropolitan area from which Pitt draws patients and aborted babies, is 80% white and only 13% Black.

Experiments On Aborted Babies Up Until Birth

Pennsylvania law permits abortions up to six month in pregnancy (24 weeks) yet these documents show Pitt is experimenting on babies aborted all the way to full term. “Tissue from 25-42 gestational weeks will be obtained from [the International Institute for the Advancement of Medicine] and will include collections from throughout the US.”

Increased Number of Experiments on Aborted Babies

Pitt indicates that they have steadily increased their “inventory” – the number of aborted babies that they are researching on. As a result, Pitt indicates they are expanding this inhumane and unethical research in the future – using your taxdollars to make it all possible.

In Pitt’s own words: “[T]he numbers of consents and collections has been steadily increasing… and we are in an excellent position to expand our services to include the needs of the GUDMAP Atlas projects.”
