The ACLU, Planned Parenthood and Others Want to Teach Your Children About Sex
- Why is the ACLU – the American Civil Liberties Union – and “Equality PA” – the leading gay rights group – pushing a bill to mandate explicit, contraceptive-based, amoral sex education on all Pennsylvania’s public school children? Good question!
- Why do they want children as young as kindergartners taught about homosexuality and other varieties of sexual behaviors? Hmm.
- Why are they holding a rally at the Pennsylvania Capitol on Monday, in coalition with other groups like Planned Parenthood, NARAL and the teachers unions, and hiding behind the name “Pennsylvanians for Responsible Sex Education”? Well, that’s an easy one.
They’ve got their sights aimed at our children, and they’re using HB 1163, the “Healthy Youth Act” to pull the trigger. Lawmakers in Louisiana just defeated a similar bill in their legislature. Families in Wisconsin were not so fortunate – that state’s governor recently signed a “Healthy Youth Act” into law there.
Planned Parenthood, the author of these bills, has a long history of promoting practices that encourage teens (and younger) to have sex. Consider, for example, that one of the leading “comprehensive” sex – ed curricula encourages teenage couples to “take baths together” as a way to relieve tension without actually having sex. Sounds like a plan – not.
HB 1163, the Pennsylvania Healthy Youth Act, recently passed the House Education Committee, and the ACLU rally is aimed at getting passage in the full House.
Our question to YOU is: Will you make your voice heard, and stand against Planned Parenthood, the ACLU, and HB 1163, the so-called “Healthy Youth Act”? Will you help protect Pennsylvania ’s children from this latest attack against their physical, emotional and spiritual well-being?
Contact your State Representative today, and encourage them to oppose HB 1163. For a fact sheet with more details, click here.
