Over the past five years, the Pennsylvania March for Life has become a powerful display of unity for the pro-life movement. Pennsylvanians from all over the state rally and march in Harrisburg to encourage and challenge our elected officials to support life.
Here’s a recap of the day’s events:
8 AM: Early morning coverage of the day’s events: “Happening today, pro-life advocates will gather at the steps of the State Capitol for the fifth annual Pennsylvania March for Life.” (Fox43)
“The annual March for Life event brings together a collection of groups, including faith leaders, elected officials, and medical professionals.”
9 AM: Morning Light Live was on hand, broadcasting from the steps of the PA Capitol in their special morning coverage of the PA March for Life.
11 AM: The rally begins. What a crowd!
It’s great to see so many state officials join us in rallying for life:
- “Today’s March for Life was truly uplifting. It was a powerful reminder of the hope, love, and strength found when people unite to protect the lives of our most innocent and vulnerable. It was inspiring to see so many stand together for this cause.” – Sen. Kristin Phillips-Hill
- “This is a wonderful day of advocacy for those who don’t yet have a voice. I’m happy to support it and happy to see so many of my colleagues and just so many Pennsylvanians here to support the rights of the unborn.” – House Minority Leader Jesse Topper
- “Life is a precious gift from God. And that is why we need to do all we can to protect it. That is why we march, and that is why today’s March matters. In a culture that seems to increasingly promote self and devalue the sacred, what we are doing here today is even more important.” – Sen. Judy Ward
- “What an incredible day at the Pennsylvania March for Life Rally in Harrisburg! THOUSANDS gathered at the Capitol to be a voice for the voiceless, with amazing energy and courage—especially from the hundreds of students who joined. I was honored to stand on stage and witness this inspiring movement for life.” Sen. Chris Gebhard
- “An amazing crowd at the March for Life Rally in Harrisburg.” – Rep. Barb Gleim
- “What an amazing crowd of people who did not just walk around a building. No, they made their voices loud and clear and were a voice for the voiceless. This is by far the largest advocacy day in Harrisburg, and like me, you would have been inspired by just how many youth came out!” Rep. Clint Owlett
12 PM – We march!

2 PM – A variety of media coverage starts to highlight the day’s events:

“Whether you are humanly planned or unplanned, able or disabled, we all have equal and inherent value that comes from God. Life is the first right. Without it, nothing else matters.”

Mark your calendars — we’ll see you here next year, same time, same place!
