Pennsylvania Family Institute and members of our Pennsylvania Prayer Network are encouraging you to heed the proclamation of Abraham Lincoln 150 years ago and participate in National Fast Day on Tuesday April 30, 2013.
The Pennsylvania State House recently passed a resolution – led by Representative Rick Saccone – dedicating Tuesday April 30 as a day of prayer and fasting. This resolution points to President Lincoln’s proclamation to have citizens dedicate April 30, 1863 to “devoutly recognizing the Supreme Authority and just Government of Almighty God, in all the affairs of men and of nations.”
Would you join citizens from Pennsylvania and around the country on April 30th to honor National Fast Day?
To aid in the effort to pray throughout the day on April 30th, sign up for a specific 30-minute prayer time on our website – www.pafamily.org/day2pray.php.
