Gerald Groff loves God, loves his family and loved being a mailman in Lancaster County. A former missionary, he prioritized a job that would not force him to work on Sundays.
When the United States Postal Service started delivery service on Sunday, Gerald Groff sought a religious accommodation in order to follow his religious convictions about the Sunday Sabbath. His case has now made it all the way to our nation’s highest court.
The U.S. Supreme Court is scheduled to hear oral arguments on April 18th, with a decision expected in June.
We need to pray for Gerald Groff. We need to pray for this Supreme Court case.
