A fourth defendant charged in the abortion-horror case, known as “Dr. Steve” Massof although he never obtained a medical license or certification, pleaded guilty to two counts of third-degree murder, two counts of conspiracy and one count of participating in a corrupt organization, according to court records. Massof made an open plea, which means there’s no agreement with prosecutors on his possible sentence, according to court records.
He faces a maximum of 80 to 160 years on the charges.
