We Need Your Help with the Voters’ Guide!

Mar 30, 2010 | 0 comments

For the May 18th Pennsylvania Primary Election, we are well underway with our plans to publish an online-only, web edition of our Primary Election Voters’ Guide that will cover candidates seeking these offices:
Governor
Lieutenant Governor
U.S. Senator
U.S. Representative in Congress – contested Primary Election races only (where more than one candidate is running on the Democrat or Republican ballot)
State Senator and State Representative – contested Primary Election races only (where more than one candidate is running on the Democrat or Republican ballot)

How it works.
To produce our Voters’ Guide, we first need to determine candidates’ positions on key issues. To do this, the Pennsylvania Family Institute has already sent each candidate our issues questionnaire and asked them to indicate their positions on a list of questions. Now, we are in the midst of following up with phone calls and E-mails to get their responses.

We need YOUR help: Could you make some phone calls?
We have found it effective to step up our follow-up efforts by having local voters, like you, call a short list of candidates in your area who have not yet responded to PFI’s candidate questionnaire. We have found these candidates can be more responsive to calls from local citizens like you than they are to our Harrisburg office.

It’s easy. We will show you how.
Please let us know by April 1st if you can help. Then we’ll tell you everything you need to know by way of a brief Training Session conference call with PFI staff.

We hope to hear from you by April 1st if you are willing to join the effort, and thanks!
