From Pennlive.com:

Twenty Republican House members signed a letter addressed to Schuylkill County Register of Wills Theresa Santai-Gaffney supporting her decision to legally intervene against the May 20th decision by U.S. Middle District Court Judge John Jones dismantling the state Defense of Marriage Act.

Last Friday afternoon, Theresa Gaffney, Clerk of the Orphans’ Court of Schuylkill County, filed paperwork to intervene in the case that overturned Pennsylvania’s marriage law. Please take the time to call or write Mrs. Gaffney with a message thanking her for her courage in standing up for marriage. She needs to know that her actions are greatly appreciated by people across Pennsylvania, and that her courage is not in vain.

Theresa Santai-Gaffney, thank you for speaking up on this vital issue. I was stunned when Gov Corbett refused to act in light of the federal judge’s decision.

I am thankful you have stepped in the gap. People need leadership. Lead and people will follow. Stand for truth and it will stand with you. You will be at peace with a clear conscience (regardless of turmoil around you).

Thank you!

Thank you for being a voice for what marriage is intended to be in which God defined in Genesis. We can not redefine the natural law of God. Be assured of our prayers and support in defending marriage.

Blessed are You…

Thank you, Theresa, for taking this courageous stand for rule of natural law, God’s law and the interests of the Pennsylvania voters! God bless you for your efforts, and may He help bring about an end to this evil and a return to common sense and God’s will.

You are to be proud of your decision to take a stand for God’s design for marriage. As a County Commissioner in Pike County, I comprehend the challenge before us to adhere to biblical principles when they contradict the current societal norm of the politically correct agenda. Take heart however, for we will not be judged by men at the final judgement, rather by the God of all creation. We long to hear those words,” well done, thy good and faithful servent”. God Bless. Theresa,
Thank you for standing in the gap in the absence of other public officials who are more concerned with re-election fall-out. May you be encouraged and have peace in the midst of this conflict knowing you are carrying out the will of the people. You are not alone. Jennifer

Thank You for Your Courage to Stand up for Marriage and Those Who are Afraid to Speak Up

Hi Theresa:

I so appreciate what you have done to protect marriage as God intends it to be. Your courage and convictions do not go unnoticed!

I will pray for God’s protection of His plan. Wait, God is the God of the universe, and marriage between a man and a woman is His plan and He needs protection? I ask for protection and joy for your journey to speak out for Him in defense of marriage! May the Holy Spirit guide you in wisdom, speak and write through you as you become as wise as the snake and as gentle as a dove, Amen!

Let me know if there is any petition I can sign to help with the defense of marriage.

Blessings,

Thank you so much for your courageous effort to protect the sanctity of marriage. I know it must be hard to stand up for this cause in the face of such blatant opposition, but I truly appreciate your efforts, and will keep you and your family in my prayers. May God protect you, provide for you, and give you peace as you seek to have this legislation overturned.

Sincerely,

Bonnie Lynch

Thank you so much for your willingness to step in and speak for the huge amount of people. One judge should not be able legislate from the bench. Please let me know if I can be of any help in any way. Thank you again for your courage and determination!

Teresa,
Thank you for standing for traditional marriage. “The name of the Lord is a strong tower, the righteous run to it and are safe.” Proverbs 18:10 Hang Tough!

Thanks for taking the initiative to keep the meaning of marriage the same ( between one woman and one man). In this world of constant changes, this institution (marriage) must have a consistently understood meaning. Thanks, Theresa and blessings to you , Robert Landis

I am not from Pennsylvania, but I want to thank you for having the courage to stand for righteousness and truth in the face of extreme political correctness. Marriage is and will always be defined by our sovereign God Who instituted it as between one man and one woman. I pray you will have the grace and wisdom of God in this stand you are taking. We in Georgia stand with you.

Sincerely,

Thank you for being courageous and determined to fight for what we know to be truth from God’s Word….marriage is to be between one man & one woman. How disappointing
that a judge can change the laws of the land. And that our governor and attorney general do not stand up for biblical principals that have helped form our country.
Thank you for all you are doing.
