Who is Planned Parenthood Southeastern Pennsylvania?

As many know by now, State Representative Brian Sims harassed and bullied women outside of a Planned Parenthood abortion facility in Philadelphia that sparked the Pro-Life Rally Against Bullying today at the same location. In between his “shame on you” screams and racist remarks, Rep. Sims said he would be donating $100 to Planned Parenthood Southeastern Pennsylvania. Here’s a closer look at who they are:

Planned Parenthood Southeastern Pennsylvania (PPSP)

One of three regions for Planned Parenthood (also Planned Parenthood Keystone and Planned Parenthood Western Pennsylvania)

Revenue (2017): $22,249,248 (up 13%)

Number of Abortions (2017): 8,088 abortions, 47% medical (up 2%)

Abortions performed at four locations: Philadelphia (2) – Locust Street (which has failed 13 of last 23 state inspections), Comly Road, West Chester, Norristown

Taxpayer-Funded:  $1,788,823 (2017)

Since 2012, taxpayers have been forced to send them over $11.7 million.

Money Spent to Lobby for Pro-Abortion Politics: $595,517 (2017)

PPSP spent over half a million in 2017 to “shape public policy at the local, state and federal levels” which means they “fought bills restricting access to abortion services in PA. A 20-week ban was vetoed by Governor Wolf. Another bill that would ban abortion in the case of a Down syndrome diagnosis made its way through the House and a Senate committee, and a bill to ban abortion after 6 weeks was introduced. We engaged with elected officials about these issues and Planned Parenthood services in general.”

FACT:

You, as a taxpayer, helped give Planned Parenthood Southeastern Pennsylvania nearly two million dollars in 2017 at the same time they spent over half a million lobbying against legislation to stop late-term abortion and abortions solely based on a diagnosis of Down syndrome.

TAKE ACTION:

Extreme politicians like Rep. Sims that bully taxpayers and teens are pledging to donate to the largest abortion provider in Pennsylvania, Planned Parenthood. In response, would you pledge to donate to Pennsylvania Family Institute, the Commonwealth’s largest pro-life statewide organization, and help counter their pro-abortion agenda?
