#Gosnell 17 Years Without Inspection

March 18, 2013: Kermit Gosnell stands trial for the murder of 7 babies and of Ms. Karnamaya Mongar. These deaths were a result of the actions of those involved with the Women’s Medical Society in West Philadelphia – a fully licensed late-term abortion facility that had been allowed to operate for decades.

Pennsylvania allowed this to happen for decades. When the story final came out – action finally was taken. However, Planned Parenthood responded to the action of regulating abortion clinics just like any other surgical facilities (like making sure there are planned and unplanned clinic inspections) with saying it was “dangerous,” “scary,” “overreaching,” “unnecessary,” “threatening” and “burdensome.”
