PFI’s Thomas Shaheen reacts to the proposal of adding keno machines and online lottery sales in Pennsylvania:
“Let’s call this proposal what it is: a new and highly regressive tax. Placing keno machines in liquor-licensed establishments means that we’d potentially have more than 8,000 betting locations (each with a bank of machines) from neighborhood bars and taverns to your family’s favorite restaurants.”
