Valentine’s Day was yesterday, but in going with that theme, here are 162 reasons to marry from Family Research Council.
At least half those reasons are really reasons why I should make sure my parents stay married – i.e., the effect on children of successful marriages – rather than conveying any benefit to me for getting married.
Many of the others are simply the benefits of being married vs. shacking up, or having babies without being married. But they aren’t really the benefits of getting married vs. staying a bachelor, like Jesus or Paul.
