2014 General Election Voters’ Guide

Since the early 1990’s, the Pennsylvania Family Institute has helped produce and distribute (with much help from our supporters!) over four million copies of our non-partisan, church-friendly Voter’s Guide — a practical way to help make an informed decision this election.

Is this Voters’ Guide Democrat or Republican?

Neither. It is factual, impartial and nonpartisan. Every candidate was treated equally and had the same opportunities to respond to the questions.

Are you endorsing specific candidates?

No. This Voters’ Guide is an educational resource provided as a public service. It does not endorse or rate any candidates or political parties.

Why do some candidates not respond?

We don’t know. All candidates were provided multiple opportunities to respond to the survey questions. For candidates that did not respond, we used voting records, co-sponsorships, public statements and campaign materials.

A good-faith effort.

We regret that not every candidate chose to respond to our Voters’ Guide questionnaire. The Pennsylvania Family Institute staff devoted significant time and resources over several weeks attempting to obtain responses from the candidates via mail, telephone, E-mail and faxes.

Who paid for this Voters’ Guide?

Concerned individuals dedicated to responsible citizenship have donated to make this publication available. No candidate or political party paid for any part of this publication.
