3 Reasons to Call Your State Senator in Support of SB3

Feb 5, 2017 | 1 comment

Pennsylvania State Senate Judiciary Committee is scheduled to vote on SB3 TODAY, which would end late-term and dismemberment abortions, and pro-abortion groups like Planned Parenthood are at it again, shouting “extreme lawmakers” for those working to make positive updates to our outdated abortion law.

Please contact your State Senator and ask to vote YES on SB3. To email, go to tinyurl.com/YesonSB3.

Here are three reasons why we need you to call and support SB3:

1) SB3 will save lives.

In 2015, 380 babies in Pennsylvania were aborted after the first five months of pregnancy. For late-term abortions, “data suggest that most women seeking later terminations are not doing so for reasons of fetal anomaly or life endangerment.”

2) Our current state law on abortion is nearly 30 years old.

Medical advancements since the 1980’s have dramatically improved, especially with premature babies that are now routinely saved at 24 weeks and earlier.

3) Majority of Americans recognize the need to improve abortion limits.

Gallup, Quinnipiac, Huffington Post, Washington Post…poll after poll show support for limiting abortion to the first five months of pregnancy. It’s why twenty states have already passed the improvement to 20 week abortion limits.
