A new poll shows the majority of Americans support efforts to protect privacy rights by not allowing men into women’s showers and changing facilities.
Between July 7-10, WPA Opinion Research asked over 1,000 adults nationwide the following question:
Do you approve or disapprove of government forcing schools, businesses, and non-profit organizations to open the showers, changing facilities, locker rooms, and bathrooms designated for women and girls, to biological males and vice versa? And, would you say you STRONGLY approve/disapprove, or just SOMEWHAT?
The results showed 66% of adults want to protect privacy rights – including 56% of millennials. Each party – Republican, Democrats and Independent – had more oppose the government action of forcing this policy upon schools and businesses than support this action.
Some out-of-touch officials are trying to pass Bathroom Bills in Pennsylvania:
1. HB1510 & SB974
HB1510 & SB974 would force all 56 categories of public accommodations outlined in the PA Human Relations Act, including swimming pools, amusement parks, schools – and even church services – to allow men into women-only bathrooms, locker rooms and showers (and vice versa).

2. SB1307 & SB1316
SB1307 & SB1316 are dual threats that are major sections of SB974:
SB1307 would forced employers to open their sex-specific locker rooms, showers, and restrooms to the opposite biological sex in places of employment throughout Pennsylvania – including church child care facilities. It would also force women to be paired with men who identify as women (and vice versa) in dormitories in colleges, boarding schools, women’s shelters, summer camps and other similar settings. SB1307 passed committee and may be voted on by the full Senate soon.
SB1316 deals directly with public accommodations – again forcing all 56 categories, including swimming pools and schools, to open sex-specific facilities to those of the opposite biological sex.
