Sen. Casey Flips to Political Pressure, Abandons Institution of Marriage

“Until today, Sen. Casey seemed to understand the special, unique nature of marriage – a bond that brings the two halves of humanity –male and female – together in a commitment that best serves the children that likely will result from that bond.

“And so, it’s very troubling to see Sen. Casey respond to special interest pressure on an issue as important as this one.  Those special interests just recently announced their campaign to get him to flip, and it didn’t take very long at all.

“This is so much different than the character and fortitude of his father, Governor Casey – who famously and courageously bucked his party’s embrace of abortion on demand, even to the point of beginning a campaign for President – to stand up for what is right.

“Many supporters of Sen. Casey had hoped for more from him, and today are sadly disappointed especially given that he’s advocating against the position he took when he was voted into office, and against Pennsylvania’s duly-enacted marriage law.”

This is sad but I have long suspected this man is a progressive. I am sorry he is one of our elected officials. I did not vote for him last time and I will never in the future. It’s time all people question this man and demand that he stand up for decent and moral people of the state of Pa., and also for this good country. I am tired of the minorities trying to take over. Mr Casey either change your views or get out!!!!!

Mr. Casey,

As a Catholic, how can you ever satisfy your conscience of not seeing a marriage as a bond between a man & a woman only. If you cave into these people so easily, what will you do next? Sell us out to Moslem Country! I, too, did not vote for you in the last Election & would not vote for you if you were the only person on the Ballot.

Mr. Casey,
Shame on you! As a Catholic how can you say that you are a Catholic when you do not stand for what is the truth. Here are a few scriptures to remind you of what marriage is, was and will always be.

Genesis 1:27-28
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. And God blessed them. And God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”

1 Corinthians 7:2
But because of the temptation to sexual immorality, each man should have his own wife and each woman her own husband.

Hebrews 13:4
Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous.

Shame on you Mr. Casey! Your father would be mortified at how you have been influenced by evil.

When campaigning against Senator Santorum, candidate Casey authorized mailed advertisements which patently lied about the Senator’s defense of marriage. The same advertisements alleged (falsely) the Senator wished to criminalize contraception for married couples. Senator Casey now changes his mind about who those couples are, but not about contraception — the coupling of homosexuals being inherently contraceptive. Besides homosexual acts and heterosexual contracepted acts, what other expression of sodomy will Senator Casey elect to give protection of law? Incest? Pedophilia? Public onanism? Bestiality, perhaps?
