Abortion Funding Opt-Out for PA Passes Committee

Pennsylvania took a step in the right direction today in passing SB 3 out of committee today by a 8-5 vote.

SB 3 would ensure that abortion will not be covered under the health care exchanges (Obamacare). This would maintain the status quo – preserving current Pennsylvania policy prohibiting public funding of abortions.

These Senators voted YES on SB3. Please contact them to express your thanks for supporting this bill:

  1. Senator Donald White (lead sponsor of the bill)
  2. Senator Joseph Scarnati
  3. Senator James Brewster
  4. Senator Patrick Browne
  5. Senator Michael Brubaker
  6. Senator John Eichelberger
  7. Senator John Rafferty
  8. Senator Kim Ward

These Senators voted NO on SB3. Please contact them to express your concern over their no vote:

  1. Senator Lisa Boscola
  2. Senator Lawrence Farnese
  3. Senator Michael Stack
  4. Senator Patricia Vance
  5. Senator Anthony Williams
