A recent column in the Sunday New York Times provides an insightful look at the growth of cohabitation in America, the reality that it actually increases the likelihood of divorce should the couple later marry, and some of the reasons why that is so.  Share it with those of marrying age; they need to know.  It goes against the “conventional wisdom” of today on this topic (which is not wisdom at all.)
