Even in seemingly innocuous bills like PA House Bill 302 (out of committee and before our PA House awaiting action) and PA House Bill 1400 (in House Judiciary committee) that include “non-discrimination” language about “sexual orientation.” Elevating sexual orientation and gender identity to the level of racial discrimination could have a chilling effect on (read: shut down) a church’s speech and therefore its ability to carry out the gospel. Action: Now is the time to tell your PA state reps to vote NO on HB 302 and HB 1400. Message: It’ s about protecting religious liberty, not special class status for sexual orientation!
